Apple Banana Muffins

1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp plain nonfat yogurt
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 ripe bananas mashed (appx 1/2 cup)
2 apples, cored, peeled and chopped or shredded

Preheat oven to 375. Cream together applesauce, sugar, egg, vanilla and yogurt. Add dry ingredients and stir just to moisten. Fold in banana and apple. Fill 12 muffin cups 1/2 full. Bake 20-25 minutes.
