1 lb skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 cup ketchup
12 oz can dark diet soda
To cook on stovetop: Place chicken in skillet, top with ketchup and pour soda over top.
Bring liquid to a boil; turn down heat, cover with lid and simmer for 45-60 minutes stirring occasionally. If desired remove
lid during end of cooking to allow sauce to thicken more. Shred meat and serve over rice or on buns if desired.
To cook in crockpot: Place chicken in crockpot; pour ketchup over top of chicken and then
pour soda on last. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Shred and serve.
