Cornmeal Waffles and Chili

1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup water
1 egg
1 tbsp olive oil
 
Combine all ingredients in medium bowl, stir just until blended. Allow batter to sit while waffle iron is heating. Cook waffles according to manufactures instructions.
 
Makes 4 waffles...1 waffle=207 calories/6 g. fat/2 g. fiber
 
I did not add the chili to the recipe as the points differ mattering on what brand you enjoy.  So when you make your waffle make sure you add the points for your chili and any other toppings you use. (I like to use shredded cheddar, fat free sour cream, lettuce, tomato, onion and cilantro on mine. )
